Officejet Pro 8600

Hello,

I have a Officejet Pro 8600 which has a linefeed problem. After a couple of centimeters there is a white stripe on my paper. First I thought lets clean the printer heads and align it, this didn't help. So I bought a new original HP printerhead, still the same problem exists.

So I thought it must be something with the linefeed, but is there a way that I can calibrate this? I found other printers which have this option but I didn't find it for my printer.

This is a scan of the linefeed problem:

 Example of my linefeed problem

Thanks in advance,

Jacob

Hi @jacob_v_dam,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

I see that you are getting a white stripe after a couple of centimeters, with your HP Officejet 8600. I am happy to help!

What is the size/type/weight of the paper you are printing with?

Please take a look through these guides:

Hope these guides help, and hope to hear from you soon! Smiley Happy

I ran all the tests but none solved the problem.

Is there a way to calibrate the linefeed? I noticed that there are no problems when printing in highquality, but this costs a lot of inkt..

Hi jacob_v_dam,

Due to the design of this printer, there is no way to calibrate the linefeed. You can do an alignment and a printhead cleaning which might help.

What is the size/type/weight of the paper you are printing with? Perhaps, there is a different type of paper you can use/try.

For future reference, here is your printer's user guide, HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer - N911a User guides.

Hope to hear from you soon! :generic:
