Printing Photo's on my HP Photosmart 5520

Hello, I just set up my HP Photosmart 5520 with my macbook pro and I'm having trouble printing photographs.

Every time I go to print a photo, it cuts off a majority of the picture and I end up with only a portion of the actual picture.

I woud really appreciate some guidance, thank you.

From what app are you printing?  You have to specifiy a borderless paper size if that is what you intend to do.

Re: Printing Photo's on my HP Photosmart 5520

OK, when you print a photo (using File > Print or command-P), make sure you select the correct Paper Size (like 4x6 borderless) AND the correct Print Size (like borderless).

If you do one and not the other you will get odd results.

Re: Printing Photo's on my HP Photosmart 5520

I have have been printing photos for years using a Kodak printer, and never had any problems. But I am very disappointed both with the quality, colour and although I go through all the usual steps, size, border less etc, I'm getting either a very small pic or only part

Remember when you print a photo you have to tell the software BOTH what paper size and what print size you want.
