Hi, I have similar problem. My cadridge for Ink Advance 4515 was installed properlly and functioned for quite a long time, and all of a sudden printer started to display Incopatible Ink Cartride Error. I am in the very same location all the time from purchase.
How can I solve this?

The troubleshooting steps in the document here may help resolve the ink cartridge error on your HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 4515.

Thak you very much, I alredy tried to clean the contacts, unplug device etc. before and hoped to find other solution than to replace the cartridge, when it was not all used. However based on your recomendation I tried everything again and when nothing helped I changed the cartridge and the problem is solved. Thanks again.
