I cleaned the printhead of my HP photosmart six times and now the printer is telling me that my ink is almost empty except for black which is half full. I was trying to get rid of lines that appear across the page.  I just paid £27 for the new ink surely it can not be empty already, faultly ink cartlidges ?

Welcome to HP Support Forum. The process of cleaning print heads consumes a lot of inks. I don't know why you need 6 times to do that.

Hi Provost There are lines across the printed A4 page usually on the last half of the page and I think cleaning the heads got rid of it before not this time.
