Product: HP ENVY 5640 number B9959A
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Windows 10 on HP Compaq 6710b  tries to download a software update released in august 2014 and install it on the HP Envy what continues to fail.

I seem to have seen on the display of the Envy that an update was installed. Download the Envy itself the updates and how can I determine if this happened in the right way?

Hi,

 

Unfortunately no. You can see now and may be check next month or next year to see the difference(s). It only shows firmware version but NO dates.

Hi,

 

Yes in many cases specially for firmware, printers will download and install themselves. Sometimes you can see from the printer control panel (and please don't try to stop it) but many we miss this. Do you stand next to printer every minute ? No.
