I was verbally told this password.  The employee is no longer with the company...I need to get in and do some admin maintenance but cannot without this password.  I've done a factory default reset but that doesn't reset everything.  Please HELP!

Hello, in this case you may have to do a cold reset through the preboot menu. Factory reset will not do the trick, but a cold reset should clear all settings, down side is you will have to reinput all setting and configurations after. If you do not know how to get into the preboot menu, power off the printer, power on, once you see the HP logo in the center of the screen you tap the logo(not the top center), you tap the HP logo and that will take you to the preboot menu, fair warning be careful what you do while in this menu.

Hope this helps....

You are WONDERFUL!  I've been working on this for 2 days now...researching and scouring through the manual.  I hope I didn't miss it somewhere and wasted time but this is exactly what I needed.  I'm in now.  Hugs and kisses your way!  Have a great weekend.
