hp c3100

my printer will not print, i hope somebody can tell me possible reasons and methods to fix my printer!

Sorry, there is way too little information in your post for anyone to help you.

 

What computer OS?

How is your printer connected?

What have you tried and what happened?

Sorry its actually a c3180, it's connected by usb, that is all connected! I tried updating the software that didn't make a difference!

 i don't understand what is meant by my computer os!!

What Operating System (OS) are you using?  XP, VIsta, OS X???

OK, now tell us exactly what happens or does not happen.  For example, "When I print ... I get this error: XXX"

there are no errors in any form, it literaly does nothing except put any documents chosen to print in a qeue!

that is why i'm completely stumped

Go to Control Panel Printers & Faxes. Find the printer in question and make sure it says "Ready" when you hover over it with the mouse.  If not, right click it and choose "Use Printer Online".

 

If all is OK there double click the printer in question.  Delete all of the print jobs and try to print something.

 

Is this a laptop, by chance?
