itunes won't print

I have bought an hp c309a all in one printer. the only thing it won't print is itunes playlists. can anyone advise why this is. if I thought there was a problem I wouldn't have bought the printer.

Do you receive an error message? What device are you trying to print from?

no error message. it's an hp notebook printer. running vista. it only prints the border of the playlist. everything else is great except itunes printing. the print preview on itunes is correct but it doesn't print as the preview

Same issue with C4580 All in one.  Can't print anything in Itunes.  All other programs print to the printer just fine.  When print playlist, cd jewel case, or anything using itunes print command, the page confirming the page to print, paper orientation, etc. comes up, then when press print button, there is a brief spooling box that pops up, then closes, then momentarily, you see the windows XP printer icon in the lower left tray.  But the printer icon quickly disappears and the printer just sits there dead in the water.  When I open the printer status from control panel, it shows no jobs waiting in the print list.  Its as though nothing was sent to the printer or the printer is just not taking the job from itunes/ XP.  Never had this problem with any other printer.  Needs fixing fast or I'll have to hook up a previous printer.

I have a kodak 3200 and haveing the same problem. I went to control panel and duble click printer. Then click on printer drop down list and click on sharing. Then click on advanced. Then change from (Spool print documents so program finishes printing faster) to (Print directly to the printer). Now Itunes prints fine. Hope this Helps.

thanks very very much 1Pappy59 have been trying 2 sort this out 4 over 6 months and noone has been able 2 help including hp themselves. its absolutely perfect now. most of my music is on itunes so I really needed the print option.

Hi great advice regarding change to print direct from computer, mine is now working, thanks you are a star!

Although changing this setting makes the printer start working, what is being printed is nonsense. I try to print a mosaic album cover from iTunes and it just prints a small section of it and cuts off the rest.

There is a problem with the recent 11.02 download of iTunes. This is due to be rectified with an iTunes release due within the next few days.There is nothing wrong with your printer.
