Hello, @jayartibee – Hope you are well 🙂

Allow me to welcome to HP Support Forums! It is a great platform to get help from the community, get suggestions and find what has worked for others!

I understand you are facing issues while printing yellow and cyan on your Officejet 8000 printer. Let’s start by printing a self-test page on the printer. Here are the steps:

  1. Press and hold the Cancel button () for 3 seconds.
  2. The self-test page prints.

If the yellow and cyan are absent in the self-test page as well, then proceed to clean the print heads again. It might help you to try and perform level 2 or level 3 cleaning of the print head. If that does not help, I would suggest you replace one of the cartridge and check. Check http://hp.care/2pZyMek for additional steps.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!

Good luck 🙂

I have done level 2 and 3 cleans, and all four cartridges are full or nearly full

Hello, @jayartibee

Did you print the self-test page? How is the yellow and cyan on the test page?

Also, simply clean the print head 2-3 times to make the second level and third level cleaning.

Thanks, I will watch for your reply!

Cheers 🙂

With a test page - or any document - there is no cyan or yellow output at all

Hello, @jayartibee

That's all I got at the moment. It looks like a hardware issue with the printer 😞

I would request you contact the HP phone support to get further assistance or to get the printer serviced.

You can visit http://www.support.hp.com/contact-hp and fill in your product details to get the tech support number.

(1) Once the support page opens please select the country in which you're located. Next, enter your HP model number on the right.

(2) Next, choose the 'Contact Support' tab at the top and scroll down to the bottom of the 'HP Support- Contact' page to fill out the form provided with your contact information.

(3) Once completed click the 'Show Options' icon on the bottom right.

(4) Lastly, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select 'Get phone number.' A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

If you have any troubles, let me know and I will do my best to help!

Good luck 🙂
