I have tried stopping the print spooler and then deleting the print job but the print job wasn't listed.   I've also tried un-ticking 'enable bidirectional support' but couldn't un-tick the box.  I've also tried restarting my computer but that didn't work.  I have switched off the printer because I can't stop it re-printing the same 24-page document.  Every time I press 'cancel printing' on the display, it cancels that job but immediately starts re-printing.

Hi.  I had a second attempt at fixing it via the print spooler route then deleting print jobs, and this time it worked.  So thanks - this advice really helped.

when I turned on computer this morning, printer started re-printing a 24-page document I printed yesterday.  Have cancelled printing on printer but it keeps starting to print again, as though it is stuck on a loop.  When I tried to cancel print queue on my printer, nothing shows up in the print queue.

Hi @Delyth,

Thanks for reaching out to the HP Support Forums for a solution to your printing issue.

I understand that when you turned on your computer the HP Officejet Pro 8620 e-All-in-One Printer you have started printing something you printed on the previous day. I would like to help with that.

This is likely a software issue of some sort.

What operating system is the computer that you are using with the printer running?

I will watch for your reply so I can look into this further for you. Please reply at your convenience.

Thanks.

I'm having the same problem with my HP 4630 All-in-one printer. It keeps re-printing a former document even after cancelling and clearing it off the print activity and disconnecting the power and USB line for 24+hrs.

Hi @PHLDan,

Thanks for reaching out to the HP Support Forums for a solution to your printing issue.

I understand that you have an HP Officejet 4630 e-All-in-One Printer that keeops reprinting a document after it has already been cancelled and cleared. I would like to help with that.

This is an issue that is likely software driven as the printer does not have memory to hold printed document data to be able to reprint it.

What operating system is your computer running?

I will watch for your reply so I can assist you further. Please reply at your convenience.
