For a number of years, various 'public' documents (on PCL5, PCL6, printer MIBs, etc.) were available via the 'developer' web site:

     http://www.hpdevelopersolutions.com

by selecting the "Public Software Development Kits" option, then the "LaserJet andDigital Sender" kit area.

 

I'm not sure how often the site was updated, nor how up to date it was in terms of MIBs for new models. 

But (unfortunately) that is now irrelevant, since the above URL now just returns "unavailable" (timed-out).

This appears to be since the printer parts of the business and consumer forums merged earlier on this year?

I said in my previous post that the site is unavailable.

 

If I can manage to find out if and where it has been moved to, I'll update this thread.

 

Of course, even if the site does become available, there is no guarantee that it will contain MIBs for current printer models.

The developer site has now reappeared (although I haven't checked to see which MIBs are available in the public kits download area).

 

The http://www.hpdevelopersolutions.com link now works, and redirects to https://spp.itcs.hp.com/spp/ .

 

This web page is titled "HP JetAdvantage Partner Portal", and the current (news) content shows:

From the home page (via the SDK button) it is possible to access the Public kit areas, as before:
