Hello, @zipigo – Hope you are well 🙂

Thanks for reaching out to the HP Support Forums! I would be glad to be of your assistance 🙂

Your Officejet 6960 printer supports the Wi-Fi direct feature and going through your post, I see that you are looking for the Wi-Fi direct password.

first, turn on the Wi-Fi direct if not done already. Go to Setup - Wireless - Wi-Fi direct to turn on the feature. Now, on your printer control panel, touch the Wi-Fi Direct icon  to display the Wi-Fi Direct name and password.

Also, check http://hp.care/2dyiZSx for detailed instructions to use the Wi-Fi direct feature.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance.

Good luck 🙂
