LaserJet Pro 200 Color MFP M27
macOS 10.12 Sierra

Started getting intermittant failures to print, saying printer not connected.  Power cycling printer, sometimes several times, solved problems but no longer does.  Getting "79 Service Error" and instructions to turn on and off, but that does not solve problem.  Stuck.

Disconnect the printer from the computer or network and then turn the printer off and then back on. Does it come to the error or come to ready. If it comes to ready see if you can print a report from one of the menus on the printer. If you can, the issue is probably a bad print job trying to print from one of the computers connected to the printer. Delete any printjobs that are trying to print and see if the printer comes to ready with it connected to the computer or network. If it comes to ready do a firmware upgrade first which should solve most firmware issues.
