CP1518ni
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased a used CP1518ni colour LaserJet printer, installed new cartridges and connected via USB to Windows 7 and Windows 10 system and discovered when printing cololur vector graphics from CorelDraw X3 they are printined in grayscale, not colour.
I've been experimenting. I was able print colour photos from Corel PhotoPaint X3 so learned If I convert the graphic object in CorelDraw to a bitmap first then it prints fine.
I connected printer to LAN and was delighted the colours of vector ojbects print fine.
It seems the issue if printing over USB or network.
I am okay with sticking to LAN connection but like to resolve or at least understand what is going on.
USB 2 or 3, length of USB cable?
Thanks in advance.

If you are using the same printer driver in both cases, then the connection (transport) method (USB or network) should not make any difference.

I'd suspect that you are somehow invoking use of different printer drivers.

Thank you.
