HP LaserJet
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)

Hi there,

We are having an issue with the product name of HP printers.

We have multiple devices, with the same name. For example: for the HP LaserJet P2055, we have 10 devices.

We use HP ePrint, but when we see the list of available devices,  it's hard to find the right printer because they all have the same name. We wanted to give some info like the location in the company.

How can we solve this?

Regards,

Stijn

If attached to the network, type in the ip address of each one and you should be able to enter the location of each printer which may or may not show up on the report you get. Also each printer has a host name which can be changed if the report gives you the host name of each printer. You can also go into the driver and change the name of the printer to whatever you want.
