envy 4500
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Installed new HP black ink cartridge.

Test page shows coloured squares but NO letters.

Alignment printed sheet does not work when scanned.

Removed the printer and software.

Reinstalled printer and software.

Unplugged printer. Left if for 30 minutes.

No luck!

Help....

Based on your description, it sounds like your printer is not producing black when printing. Please complete the steps presented in the following document and let me know the outcome of your efforts: Printer Prints a Blank Page or Does Not Print Black or Color Ink for the HP ENVY 4500 and Deskjet In....
