Nearly most printing attempts getting message:Manual Duplex  Load Tray 2.  Neccessitates opening tray then closing even though plenty of paper.

I'd guess that "Manual Duplex" are the key words here.

 

It probably means that:

 

  • You have requested that the document be printed in duplex (two-sided) mode;

 

  • The printer does not have a hardware duplex unit (but note that your LaserJet Pro MFP277dw model should have one), so cannot provide "automatic duplex", or perhaps that 'manual duplex' has been explicitly selected in the printer preferences dialogue?

 

  • Hence the driver is attempting to perform "manual duplex", where all the odd faces are printed, then the printer halts and a prompt is issued indicating that you should take the printed sheets from the output bin amd place them in the input tray so that all the even faces can now be printed on the other side of each sheet.
