Hello!
This morning, when i update my p2055dn firmware with updater tool from HP's original site, a saw a green smile on the monitor represents everyrhing is ok. I don't look to my printers screen message, just power cycle the printer, after the updater finished his job.
When the printer boot up i have got a B0605 error message.
I found solutions on this forum, but none of them working for me. I found an older redirecton to HP enterprise forum, but i don't find printer topic, just enterprise server/software categories.
Can anyone solve this firmware update bug without hp service?
Thanks for replies!

Below is a link to the instructions. If they do not work, then you will need to replace the formatter.

This worked for me :
Extract the exe with 7zip or other application (ljp2050_Series_FW_Update_20141201_signed.exe ).
Then swap the names of the two bin files and then run the firmware update utility again.
Hope this helps someone as I did the today after much searching.

with a p2055dn we solved the problem:
unzip ljp2050_Series_FW_Update_20141201_signed.exe manually
rename hp2055d.bin to hp2055d-bad.bin
copy hp2055dn.bin hp2055d.bin
retry now: FWUpdate.exe
and the printer was again fine.
