HP Photosmart C4180 All in One / Vista

New hard drive was installed, we need to install printer without the disk

Hi Moreton1,

 

I can help you install your Photosmart c4180 without the software CD. Please follow the steps below.

 

Open the following link, HP Photosmart C3100 and C4100 All-in-One Full Feature Software and Drivers.

  1. Click the Download only button. 
    Note: Make sure the HP All-in-One device is "Not" connected to the computer before running the download file.
  2. Click the Run button to begin the download.
    Note: File is compressed and may take time to expand and run.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to begin the installation process.
  4. Click Finish.
  5. Connect the USB cable between the printer and the computer, then turn on the printer.
  6. Your product should be ready to print.

Since you have not provided much information. Please provide the issue description to assist you better.

 

However, if you are looking for printer driver you can download from this link. (Windows Vista 64bit)

 

Also, please provide the operating system you are running.
