Hello, I reboot my computer but I done have a CD to restart my printer or CD. My computer is HP Officejet Pro 8600

this was the ONLY thread with suggestions that HELPED me reset my LOCKED printer... (which has been locked since i first set it up from Office Depot!)

The first couple of times I tried tho, I hit the Back button (or where it would be on the touch pad) i should have been tapping the GO BACK curvey arrow below the scroll back button... THANKS SOOOO MUCH!!

Need to change the name the printer presents to the network.  Web engine wants a password--havew no record or recall of ever setting one.

Can I reset to defaults and get rid of it?

Was there and installtion CD?
