Somehow, in trying to figure out how to get an envelope to print from the feeder tray (which I found out isn't possible), I turned on something that produces a printer screen prompt that says something like 'Manual Feed" then says the size of envelope and waits for response.  This is every time I print an envelope & it's really a pain and I'm not finding where/how to turn this off.  Can anyone help?  Thanks in advance.

Hello miebs, and welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience!

I see you are having envelope issues. I would love to try and help you, but I do need a little information first. I am linking a few HP Support documents below that will show you how to find which operating system you are using. Also, if you're using Windows, please include whether your operating system is 32-bit or 64-bit. With this information we can provide you with accurate information.

Mac OS X: How Do I Find Which Mac OS X Version Is on My Computer?
Which Windows operating system am I running?
Is the Windows Version on My Computer 32-bit or 64-bit?

Also, What programs are you printing from?  Does it occur from multiple programs?

Please let me know what you find.  Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

Operating system is Win7.  32-bit OS Since I print envelopes only in MS Word, this is the software being used when I get the message - only when printing envelopes.  Also, it has not always happened.  It began happening AFTER I was messing around trying to figure out how I could manually feed envelopes using the sheet feeder on the top of the printer instead of having to pull out all of the letter paper and resize the tray to fit envelopes (this was a very bad design) every time an envelope needs to be printed.  As you know this is not any option - to print envelopes using the top feeder.  So, somewhere along the line I think I changed a setting that triggered this prompt, I just can't figure out where it is to change it back/shut it off.  Again, the message/prompt appears on the screen of the printer, not the computer, and I must select 'OK' at the printer each time an envelope is printed.  Thank you for your time and expertise.

Hi miebs, and thanks for the response!

I would suggest Uninstalling the Printer Software.

Once it is uninstalled, I would suggest putting your system into clean boot mode within the Microsoft configuration.  You can do so by following this document: How to perform a clean boot in Windows.

Once the computer is in clean boot mode, I would suggest reinstalling the HP LaserJet Pro 200 Color M276 Full Feature Software and Drivers.

Please let me know how that goes.
