LaserJet Enterprise 600 M603
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Greetings,

This issue was only discovered on attempting to install high yield 90x (CE390X) toner cartridge.  Upon installing the cartridge into what is labled a HP LaserJet 600 M603 printer, model number: CE996A, the printer indicates "Incompatible Black Cartridge".

The EWS configuration page indicates that the printer is a HP LaserJet 600 M601 vice 603, and Model Number: CE990A vice CE996A, which explains why the 90x toner cartridge is indicating that is is incompatible as this cartridge does not work in the LaserJet 600 M601.

I did a HP Serial Number lookup and the S/N: CNCCF9103P indicates that the printer is a HP LaserJet Enterprise 600 M603xh, It also indicates that the printer is out of warranty.

So why is the configration page indicating it is a different/wrong printer.   What process do I need to take/do to get this issue resolved?

Thanks in advance for your help with this issue.

Best,

moranw
