Laserjet 100 color MFP M175nw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Problem: duplex printing does not stop halfways (after printing one side) in order to enable me to flip over the paper, reload in the magazine, and press ": start" again to print the other side.

Printing goes now all the way,  first the even pages (that is correct) and then immediately after that, without pause, the odd pages, upside down (that is correct too). The only problem is that there is no pause between odd and even page-printing to enabvle me to bring the stack of paper back to the papertray.

This is only in Windows 10, on another machine still working on Windows 7 duplex printing goes perfectly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated ...

I found the solution !

This is for the LaserJet 100 color MFP 175nw on a clean Windows10 installation. I do not know whether this also works for other printers.

1. Go to Control Panel / Devices and Printers

2. right-click the HP laserjet icon, select Properties, go to tab Device Settings.

3. Under installable options: Manual Duplexing, Job Separator  and Status Notification:

     all should be ENABLED

This is what was wrong, Job Separator was disabled after the intial install and that setting caused the printer not to pause when duplexing.

Problem solved!
