I believe all high-end officejet and laserjet printers can be compatible with windows server 2008. If you wanted to make sure, you can try to search for a particular printer software here: www.hp.com/go/support
Just click on download drivers and software and enter the product number.
Let me know if that helps.

No, this is NOT helpful.
I must return a printer I just purchased that did not have a compatible Windows 2008 driver. It is a very simple question - list the printers that DO have a Windows 2008 driver. No more trial and error.
And by the way, DON'T release a server that does NOT have a Windows 2008 driver.

I have tried 3 printers all network but non were compatable with server 2008 R2. Models are MF126dn, MF128FW, MF226DN. They are all network buplex printer. but of no use. better use it with windows 2007 to windows 10.
As per the customer care of HP there are no printer of HP which suooprts server 2008 R2. One more very interresting thing about HP. Thy say server 2008 is compatable for hp printer but neneration 8 server or hp is not compatable with old server 2008 (it gives kernal Panic error). It requers server 2008 R2.
I purchased both the 226dn and 128fw. But both are of no use to me now. go for cannon image class M226DN they are compatable with server 2008 R2.
