I'm leaving my LaserJet in Texas for the summer. Temperatures may exceed 110 F. It won't have access to electricity. It won't be in the sun. Should I leave the toner in or take it out? Are the high temperatures likely to kill the printer?

Hi,

The printer itself may not be a problem but toners can be. Please try the following suggestions

Best suggestion I can give is to remove the toner cartridge and place in a heavy duty black plastic trash bag and store in the coolest place you have.

Thanks. I plan to take the toner out and haul it to Colorado with me where I can keep it at a reasonable temperature. I'll keep it in a bag that will keep light out. Then I'll bring it with me back to Texas in October.
