how do you change the display language from chinese to english on a LaserJet M1212nf MFP printer?

it's display was english before but someone changed it to chinese and we dont know how to change the display language back to english

Hi,

 

Please try the following steps:

 

  • Press the Power button to turn on the product.
  • On the control panel, press the Setup button to open the main menu.
  • Press the Left Arrow button three times to select System setup, and then press OK . The Language option displays.
  • Press OK to open the Language menu.
  • Press the Right Arrow button to select the language that you want to display, and then press OK .
    Press the Return button twice to go back to the main menu.

My laser is in a different language, I need it put back to English. It is now un plugged. once it is plugged in will you change it , or does it need to be hooked up now?

I just bought one of your new hp laser jet printers to replace an older model. My problem is I accidentally hit the French language instead of English. I can’t even get it to go back to the main screen to reset it. Please help. I am not that great at computers

Thank you, issue is, after following steps  1 to 4, the language display is still in chinese characters, so I cannot determine whenit says select ENGLISH?
