Can I connect an envelope feeder to this printer?

If so, is it a straight path or does it use the front paper path?

As I understand you want information on connecting an external envelope feeder on your HP LaserJet Printer. I'll try my best to help you with this,

 

I did check and found that you could you use the regular paper tray to feed the envelopes. For more details, please go through the product specification for - Click here

 

Please go through the steps suggested in the support document for - HP Color LaserJet Pro M252, M274, M277 Printers - 'Out of Paper' Error, Printer Does Not Pick Paper - Click here
