laser jet 4p
Microsoft Windows XP

Can someone tell me the type of cable I would need to be able to air print my hp laser jet 4p compatible with my home network. I understand that a USB cable will work except there is no USB port on the printer.

You need to be able to connect it to your network so you might consider using a JetDirect 300x attached to the printer by parallel cable and plugged into a wired port on your Router.

Not sure if that will get you going with Apple Air Print, but it will get the 4P connected to the network.

SHT,

Thank you kindly for taking time to answer my query. I've had a similar solution from another party. Haven't tried the Desk Jet 300 yet to see if it does the job as I'm still in acquisition mode.

Cheers, Will77
