I tried to print a 2 page pdf file; it wouldn't print; then it started spitting out pages that were either blank or with gibberish at the top of the page; it was printing and printing and printing. I went to kill the print job but there were no jobs listed in the print queue. I turned my computer and printer off and then back on. However, the printer does not turn on. I have checked the connections of the printer. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you. I understand that your printer prints blank pages and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting.

However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,

  • Provide me the printer model number.
  • Which operating system is installed on your computer?

Meanwhile:

  • Clean the cartridges and restart the printer.

Reply with the result of the above-mentioned steps, for further assistance.

Cheers.
