Hi
After added RAM 48mb on my HP2300DN, on the control panel appears "disk not initialized". I have tried to do a cold reset and replace DIMM on Slot2 and Slot3, but no success. Any help would really appreciated.

DIMM Slot 1:
Side 1: 8 MB Flash
Side 2: 48 MB SDRAM
DIMM Slot 2:
Side 1: 1 MB ROM
Side 2: Empty
DIMM Slot 3:

You are probably confusing the printer. You seem to using 2 dimms that are 48mb and each also have 8mb flash. Those chips contain the firmware in the flash section and memory in the other. Since you are probably using a dimm chip from another LJ2300 you are confusing the printer with 2 firmwares. You need to use a 32, 64 or 128 dimm in the 3rd slot. Only 1 of the 8mb/48mb chips can be used in this printer.
