Under windows 7 and HP 8600 (I think) I could see what was printing and what was waiting to print. Under windows 10 and HP 8610 I can't find the option to do this. Thanks.

Check printer queue - assumes printer software is installed and functional
Option 1 - Control Panel
Control Panel > icon view > Devices and Printers > Left-Click on printer (hightlight) >
Along the top ribbon, select / Click See what's printing
Option 2 - Settings
Windows key > Settings > Devices > Under Printers and Scanners > Left-Click your Printer >
Select Open queue
When you see a Post that helps you,
Inspires you, provides fresh insight,
Or teaches you something new,
Click the "Thumbs Up" on that Post.
