Having eventually got my C309g connected wirelessly to a macbook pro via an airport express, I can now print!!. However, I still can't get it to scan, even from preview on the macbook. It'll both print and scan when connected via USB but wirelessly will only print. In fact, print & fax in System Preferences only gives a print option for wireless, it has both print & fax tabs for the USB connection
any suggestions gratefully received

- Sys Prefs, Print & Fax
- Select the printer in question and click the minus sign at the bottom of the list
- Select the plus sign and re-add it.
If this does not work, do the same thing, only instead of the second step, right (control) click the print queue area and select Reset Printing System.

Option 2, Reset Printing System fixed the scan tab issue but I still can't get a successful scan.
Pressing the scan button in the print queue (after selecting the scan tab) gives me an "overview" scan but it doesn't follow up with the final scan. Nothing is saved to the picture folder as indicated it should.
Just tried scanning again and this time I didn't even get an overview scan! Printing is still ok though

the Bonjour option worked.....Now i can print, and scan single pages but how do I get the full functionality of the printer?.
The scan button on the printer doesn't work, just get message "scan problem, try scanning from computer"...is this a problem with snow leopard?
Scanning from Print Queue appears to be hit and miss, sometimes the scanning process starts but stops during the overview, however, if I re-select the scanner, it seems to work ok.
All this is only a problem with wireless connection, USB's fine.

I've re-started everything several times.
I seem to be getting somewhere (see later post) but still not fully resolved

Don't expect the scan button to work over wireless...yet.
Try scanning from Preview or Image Capture.
