Re: C4700 Series Firmware Update!

but when I tried it it said "the device you are trying to update is not currently connected or turned on."  Yet I could see it in the Safely Remove Hardware menu and I could print and query the ink status in the HP Photosmart C4700 series Toolbox.

I have a C4750 all in one device.

Is it connected via USB?  If so, is it through a USB hub?

Re: C4700 Series Firmware Update!

Same issue.  Printer is "awake", correctly printing via USB cable, but the firmware update cannot "see" the printer.  Did a forum search and this appears to be happening a lot.  Frustrating.

The link to the firmware update is broken. My printer is stuck in this state (frozen with HP logo). How do I fix it?
