Colors are dull

Since switching to a Mac, Snow Leopard the colors are dull when printing from my Color Laserjet 2605dn.  I've tried changing paper type and color settings and it's still very dull.  I have half to almost full toner levels.

 

I would appreciate any help.

Have you tried another program possibley?

Trained on Mac and Windows for inkjet printers.
**Although I work for HP, I do not represent them in these forums**

I use Photoshop CS5 exclusively, I couldn't change to a new program for my projects.

Even trying something with colour from safari would tell us if it was system wide or program specific.

You may want to try running system updates. (Apple>Software Update)

Thank you for your help.

 

I ended up cleaning those little windows behind the cartridges and it seems to have helped brighten the colors.  

 

Sure glad I didn't need a new printer.
