Colour Laserjet 2600n

I have a colour laserjet 2600n that I bought just about 3 years ago. There appears to be no driver available for Mac OS 10.6. I tried to use the 2605 driver, but no printing arrives at the printer. It appears that HP has made a decision not to continue support for printers that is older than 5 years old. I would appreciate any help as my printer is only 3 years old.

According to an HP poster on the Apple Support boards, the 2600n driver is still being worked on, and should be out in the near future.

 

I found that downloading the 1.3.0 driver from the HP.com site worked fine for me, though YMMV.
