ENVY 100 and OS 10.7.1

HI All

I have installed all updates for HP envy 100 and connected to internet /wirelessly for printing and scanning from Mac OS 10.7.1 successfully.  However when trying to scan from the scanner touch screen, with destination of "Computer" selected none of the Mac's show up as connected (all connected computers in the list are empty). Is there a way to force the Printer/Scanner to "find" the computer?  

I can scan wirelessly from the mac via the app on the desktop but not from the scanner touch screen.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Yup, this is expected behavior.  Scanning to Macs is not supported, only to PCs.  Sorry.

Thanks. The documentation with the device( envy100) however indicates that the software default is preset for Mac's curious it appears to have been described as functional and designed to be - any thoughts?

No, sorry, I have not read the manual, but I don't know of a modern HP printer that scans TO a Mac.

Hi,

Scanning to Mac from the printer control panel is supported, however require a full feature software solution, which is not yet available for Mac OS 10.7.

As soon as it will be released on HP site, you will be able to install it and configure the scanning from the printer Control Panel.

I cannot scan from my ENVY 100 and i am running OS 10.7.1.......i downloaded the driver for OS 10.7 and my system did not want to open and run it. It said it the disk was not recognized.

Help please? Is there a link our update for 10.7.1 so that i can scan from my printer?

Try downloading and installing the driver from the link below, then check the scanning:

we have a wireless connection to our printer. I can scan and print out put somehow I cannot redirect the scan on the touchscreen to the computer. How do I make the printer find my computer??

I used to go via launch pad , click on the printer and click on scan - somehow we have a new lion and this function dissapeared.

Can someone please help me solve this.
