Using an Officejet 7310, It appears that I can send faxes from my Mac fine in that the process all works and the fax is dialed, but the process hangs when I get several pages in; it continues to say "Sending page X", both on the printer display and in the print queue dialogue on my Mac.
I can cancel the job in the queue dialogue, but have to power down the printer to cancel it there.
It appears to be a buffer issue, because it only happens with larger files; 13Mb fails, where <1Mb is OK, even with the same number of pages. The exact same problem documents print fine to the 7310 printer (i.e. to paper not fax).
Any ideas at all?

Hello,
Thanks for the post. This is an odd one, I might suggest checking the diagnostics links below, run it thrugh the paces to ensure everything on the printer end is working well........Good Luck!

Hi,
I would also suggest you to install the latest HP Printer Software 2.8 combo from Apple:
http://support.apple.com/downloads/DL907/en_US/HPP
If the same issue persists, please clarify how the printer connected to your Mac.
