HP 6500 e709 series printer won't print black order but prints as red

HP 6500 e709 series printer with wireless connection to iBook Mac prints with wrong ink cartridge.
Print ordered in black ink, prints with red ink. Ink cartridge sensors cleaned.

If you are using Win Xp or later you can Please follow this link www.hp.com/go/tools . Download and use the HP hardware diagnostic tool. Following are some common printing problems or error conditions that the Hardware Diagnostic Utility can help you resolve easily Paper Jam, Carriage Stall, and Original (document feeder) Jam, Out of Paper, Paper Mismatch, Blinking Lights, Door Open, Print Quality and others. After you run the utility let me know the outcome, I will do my absolute best to help you.

Hi CroneClark,
Regarding the issue with Black printing as Red, have you checked the ink levels? Have you tried running a printhead clean and also checked the cartridge is has a clogged vent. More details in this http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=ie&
