HP 6500 e709 series printer won't print black order but prints as red

HP 6500 e709 series printer with wireless connection to iBook Mac prints with wrong ink cartridge.

Print ordered in black ink, prints with red ink.  Ink cartridge sensors cleaned.

Hi CroneClark,

Regarding the issue with Black printing as Red, have you checked the ink levels? Have you tried running a printhead clean and also checked the cartridge is has a clogged vent. More details in this http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=ie&lc=en&docname=c01641184

If the cartridge has a clogged vent, try cleaning the vent with a pin.
