I just purchased an IMAC and need the drivers for my good old reliable HP 6L printer
Do they exist?

I need a bit more info from you first:
1. Do you plan to upgrade to Snow Leopard soon? (if you bought your iMac since June 8, 09 you can upgrade for $10)
2. How do you plan to connect the 6L to your iMac?
Answer those and we'll go from there.
Say "Thanks" by clicking the Kudos star in the post that helped you.
I am employed by HP

You seem a welcome sight. I hope I'm not imposing.. I am really disappointed as I bought the C5380 with CD and DVD printing. I expected to be able to just plug in and go and can't print anything and I can't seem to get answers anywhere. I hope you don't mind helping...
I have 10.5.8 - no plans to upgrade to anything any time soon, just want it all to stay the way it is...but work. The CD that came with the printer wouldn't work as it said it was only for Windows (bought it because it's supposed to be Mac friendly) so I downloaded what I thought was latest driver. Couldn't find any CD/DVD templates in any of it so feel a bit ripped off there too, thought it would be standard. Looked everywhere on HP site for something and no luck.Someone suggested doing it in powerpoint, no luck, other software no luck. All said the paper type was the wrong format. I then tried to print on plain paper just to see it prints and nothing. It comes up with a message now that's different than before: There is a problem with the printer. Refer to printer documentation (How annoying is that by the way>?)..what part of the documentation? No documentation says to do anything about this... there's nothing on their website about what's standard for templates. Just about to take it back to the shop so you're my last resort. I'd appreciate any thoughts. Thanks in advance.
