HP 7410 LIMITED FUNCTIONALITY WITH iMAC

I have been using an HP Officejet 7410 successfully under Windows XP with full functionality - i.e. print quality, paper type, single and double-sided printing, printer maintenance, etc.

 

I am now using it with An Apple Mac using the latest HP software and find that functionality is severely limited with hardly any of the options I had previously used on offer.  Am I missing something, or is it just that HP doesn't fully support Apple?

I had full functionality when using Leopard; now that I've upgrade to Snow Leopard, some of my functionality doesn't work (such as selecting the upper and lower cartridge).

 

I moved from XP to Mac, and found finding the printer controls to be tricky on the Mac (at least to someone used to using XP). Keep hunting around in the print menu -- click on arrows, select different pull-down menus...most of what you are looking for is likely there (assuming you are using the right printer driver).
