HP Color Lasejet 3600dn not working with OSX Lion

Occassionally my printer would dorp off and I'd reinstall it but now nothing will bring it back now it's stopped working with Lion (it did work for a while).

It doesn't find its name - I can only find the printer using its IP address. It say the printer is busy and idle and cannot open view the Supply Levels. BUT if I open the Utility then ther eit does see the current supply levels (well it seems to). I click print a Configuration Page and it say 'please resolve the error' but nothing tells me what the error is.

I'm using the latest OSX update and there are no HP/printer updates appearing in Software Update.

Any ideas please?

Similar problem with OfficeJet 6480c . . .

-- Printer works fine when connected by USB

-- No updates available from Software Update

-- When I try to add the printer wirelessly I'm told it's not supported

-- I can add the printer using USB, but I can't complete the network setup because I'm told my computer is not connected to the wireless network. I'm never given an option of choosing Bonjour. I've restarted the printer & the network and the computer.
