HP Deskjet 4260 will not print with Snow Leopard

Since installing Snow Leopard I have not been able to print with my Deskjet. For a while I could print a test page, but after reinstalling SL a second time it will not even do this.  From what I have read the print drivers are missing.  Is their anything I can do in the interim besides resinstalling an earlier version of the Operating system?  These printers (I have two) are less than two years old and I do not want to replace them.

According to this, drivers are not yet available but will be soon.
