why does printer say I need to push the wps button and where is the button?

Hi,

Make sure to temporary connect the printer with USB, then install the Full Feature software if you don't have it installed yet:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software11/COL34587/al-85626-1/DJ_AIO_08_3050_J610_USW_Full_Mac_WW_74....

 

If the Full Software been already installed, you may follow Applications > Hewlett-Packard > Device Utilities > HP Setup Assistant to configure the wireless connection.

 

The WPS button is a dedicated wireless connection button which don't available by any router
