I am using Mac OSX 10.7.3 with the printer. All of a sudden the printer makes aloud clanking noise at the end of the turn on sequence. At first after this happened I was able to then print and the printing was fine. Then at the end of the print job the noise like a wheel was turning and the was a spike in the wheel. Now however I can't print anything

Hello MaryJane19,
Since this is an older post, I just wanted to follow up and ensure that this has been resolved for you. I've included a link below with some excellent t-shooting tips. If you still cannot get the printer to a "normal" state, check your warranty period and contact HP Support to exercise your options. Good Luck!
