I mistakenly downloading 85mb of crappy HP software when I was trying to just get a driver for a HP Photosmart D7360 (the other option was to get the same crappy software plus the driver for 125mb.)
Now that it is installed I want to uninstall... but of course when I click the Uninstall app - it freezes up, nothing happens, my system says its not responding and i have to force quite the app?
Anyone know what to do?
Thanks!

sorry for the inconvenience you have experienced. if you want to uninstall the HP software:
-go to your Mac Harddrive (usually located on the upper right side of your screen)
-go to applications
-if there is a Hewlett Packard there, you just need to drag it to your trash to delete the software and thus, removing the HP software
you can try these steps, hopefully it can do some help

Hi, I had a similar problem. Driver install instructions said Uninstall old drivers first but the HP Uninstall program just hanged and I had to use Force Quit to kill it.
I connected the scanner, checked in About this Mac that the system could see it and restarted HP Uninstall. Also, in the list of devices, there were two lines, something like "4800 series" and "4850 and 4890" (may not be exactly like that) and the second time I selected "4850 and 4890" first and clicked Continue. It appeared to work okay, so I select "4800 series" and clicked Continue. Again all seemed okay.
Now, if I look in Library/Application Suppport/Hewlett-Packard I see HP scanner has disappeared
