HP psc 2410 all in one

I run Mac OS X 10.6.1.  I am unable to print anything from any app.  Not even a text page.  The print queue is empty and says the printer is ready.  When I try to print a test page it says the printer is in use.  I have gone so far as to change the power strip to reset everything.  Any ideas?

First, you should be using 10.6.3.  Do a Software Update and retry.  You should set your Software Update to update at least weekly (System Preferences > Software Update).  The updates may contain additional drivers for your printer.

 

If that does not work, do you have HP software that you loaded either when you had 10.5 or from the printer CD?  That could be a huge problem.  Let me know.
