Help! I am on a Mac OS 10.7 (Lion) Printer problems now

Since upgrading to Lion I have had lots of problem with my HP Officejet pro 8500 wireless AIO A909g printer. Now it says "The Save as PDF option in the Printer dialog is not supported."  But I NEED the PDF option AND I need it NOW. The save as option worked before the upgrade. My printer is Serial number [Personal Information Removed] driver version Inkjet3 Driver 3.3.0

 

Don't know if this is important: service ID 20063, FW Version: DLM1FN0924AR. Product number CB023A.

Hi Branch,

Please clarify how you are trying to scan as PDF.

If you are trying to scan PDF via the device front panel it is not supported while using Lion.

You may scan as PDF via the Apple scanning software - either under Print & Scan via Image Capture or via Preview.
