How do you get a Macbook Pro to work with an HP Photosmart Wireless B109n-z printer?

I have installed our B109n-z in wireless mode on my HP Notebook. I downloaded the Mac OS X version of the software for my wife's Macbook Pro and installed it but it won't let me open a print queue to the printer - saying it's not enabled!
Anyone got any ideas?

Hello.

Please clarify your Mac OS X version.

You may find it by clicking the Apple icon and then About This Mac.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. It's the latest version of Lion. But you don't need to go any further with this - perseverence paid off! I finally de-installed all the relevent HP printer software and re-installed it and it worked!

I don't know why this happens with HP printers, but I've had this before so many times on my PCs. Didn't expect it with the Mac!
