I have had the HP 309 hooked up wirelessly to my Mac for 18 months with no problems. Ihave tried cleaning and laignment several times. I have allso deleted and reinstalled the software, all with no luck.

Remove the ink cartridges. Now, lift the gray lever on the right side of the carriage and remove the printhead.
Clean the electrical contacts (dozens of small round dots) on both the printhead and the print carriage. Reassemble. Retest.
