Incomplete paper feed on hp990cxi

Hello All,

I have an older HP990cxi, running on a mac os10.4 system.  The printer works great when printing text or photographs on regular, plain paper. Absolutely no problems. But when I try to print on inkjet or photo paper the paper does not feed all the way, and the last two inches of the picture are gone, with all the printing for that space being done in one 1/4 inch black line.  The paper does not advance as it should.  I have cleaned all the rollers I can find access to. When the same settings are used, but plain paper is fed, it works fine. Manual or Automatic media sensor engagement makes no difference.

Your ideas please.
